Dr. Heinrich Arnold
Dr. Heinrich Arnold is head of Innovation Development at Deutsche Telekom Laboratories. He is also in charge of Innovation Methods & Tools which includes exploration, technology scouting and user driven innovation. The first three spin-off companies that came from Innovation Development were the initiation of the Entrepreneur in Residence Program at Deutsche Telekom Laboratories.
Before joining Deutsche Telekom, Heinrich worked for Mercer Man agement Consulting and for the German-Chinese research com pany Bicoll Group.
He studied Technical Physics at Technische Universität München and graduated with a Master of Science in Engineering from Stanford University, a Master of Business Research from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, Munich and MIT, Cambridge, Massachusetts, as well as a Ph.D. from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universitätin Technology Management.
Heinrich is a lecturer in Innovation Management and Engineering Management, a book author and a member of the Innovation Leadership Advisory Board of the School of Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is active in the Münchner Kreis, as an expert for the German Government and represents Deutsche Telekom as a member of the Felda finger Kreis. He has recently been invited to the Global Young Leaders Forum of the BMW Heinrich Quandt Foundation.
