Eran Davidson
Eran Davidson, born in Israel, has been living in Berlin since 2005 and is the President and CEO of Hasso Plattner Ventures. He, an experienced entrepreneur, brings to HPV eleven years of international Venture Capital experience.
Eran’s experience in the VC world began in 1996, when he was appointed Vice president of Inventech, a publicly traded (Tel Aviv Stock Exchange) Israeli venture capital company which focused on seed stage investments of which some have matured to very successful exits in NASDAQ and other stock markets.
Following his work in Inventech Eran was appointed as the Mana ging Partner of Eurofund 2000 LP (Israeli IT venture capi tal fund). In 2002, after three years with Eurofund, Eran was appoint ed CEO for ProSeed, an Israeli Public VC Company which has grown to be one of Israel’s top seed investors.
Eran’s professional experience includes leading a group of international VCs in acquisition of the Israeli Technion incuba tor (where he acted as the first Chairman), four successful IPOs during 1999 to 2000 for Inventech, the leading of early stage investments in Hotbar, Cydoor and Pasave, highly profitable VC backed start-up companies, successful IPOs of companies such as Nova Semi conductors, XTL biopharmaceuticals, Nogatech, Visonics, and the trade sale of Radwiz.
Eran is an MBA graduate (1994) from Boston University and holds a bachelor of Law (1989) from Tel Aviv University.
