Thomas Klein
Thomas Klein is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Cytolon. He is an experienced business entrepreneur with a proven track record of success in more than twenty years of profes sional experience as a founder and CEO in the biotechnology and software technology areas.
Prior to founding Cytolon in 2008, he served as an advisor to a NASDAQ-listed company involved in the development of stem cell therapies. From 1997 to 2006, he was the Founder and CEO of NOXXON Pharma AG. Under his leadership the company de veloped from the scratch pharmaceutical RNA products to industry readiness. He negotiated multiple cooperative agreements with US and European pharmaceutical industry. He also acquired more than EUR 50 million in equity for NOXXON. In 2006 he closed a multi million dollar investment deal with Pfizer.
Additionally, he is a founder and active supervisory-board chairman of ARCWAY AG, the first spin-off from HPI in 2004 specialized in the business analysis and business process driven requirement engineering. The company has demonstrated the value of its expertise and services with many comprehensive optimization projects, including SAP architecture specification projects.
For ten years he was also active as a political leader in the Ger man states of Berlin and Brandenburg. He holds a M.A. in History and Political Science from the German Public Ivy Ludwig Maximilians-Universität in Munich.
