Thomas Huber
is a professional mountaineer. Born 1966, he became an official mountain- and ski-guide in 1992. Since 1994 he has completed a large number of spectacular climbs together with his younger brother Alexander - from El Capitan in Yosemite Park, the Arwa Spire in India and Latok II&IV in Pakistan to Torre Standhart, Punta Herron and Torre Egger in Patagonia.
In 2000, he received the coveted mountaineering price of the Piolet d'or. In 2005, he took up B.A.S.E. jumping. He has two sons. Several of his expeditions have led to film documentaries. The most recent of these, Pepe Danquart's "Am Limit: 100 Meter in der Senkrechten", was released in March 2007.
