Dr. Klaus Lesker was born in Bottrop in 1960. Following his high-school graduation, he studied Process Engineering at the University of Aachen where he graduated in 1989. Thereafter he joined Uhde GmbH where he worked in several executive positions including Head of Worldwide Sales Division. In 1999 Dr. Lesker joined Lurgi Oel Gas Chemie GmbH as a Member of the Board of Management and from 2000 to 2004 he was in the same position at Lurgi Life Science GmbH. In 2004, he became Member of the Board of Management at Pharmaplan GmbH, a subsidiary company of Fresenius AG. In 2006, Dr. Lesker became a member of the Executive Board of MAN Ferrostaal AG responsible for the Segment Services.
