Dr. Petra Buchholz

is responsible for the T-Online Venture Fund at T-Venture, the Corporate Venture Company of Deutsche Telekom AG. Ms Buchholz serves as a Supervisory Board Member at three of the portfolio companies of the Fund. She joined T-Venture in mid 2001 from Detecon International GmbH, the consultancy company of Deutsche Telekom AG, where she was Head of the Mergers & Acquisitions group. While at Detecon, Ms Buchholz built up a track record in the acquisition of international telecommunications companies. Ms. Buchholz holds a Ph.D in business administration from Leipzig University and a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Hannover.

Prior to joining Detecon International, Ms Buchholz worked as a research assistant at the Universities of Leipzig in Germany and Georgetown University, Washington D.C. In 1992 she worked for the German-Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Tokyo. Mrs. Buchholz is an expert in Corporate Finance and Internet-based business models and has gained international experience in a large number of projects.
