Markus Czerner

is Senior Analyst at Hasso Plattner Ventures (HPV), where he has been working since its founding in 2005. He also serves as Project Director for the Network Centric Services Conference and the Open Source Business Forum, which are coordinated by HPV in collaboration with other sponsors such as the BMBF, IBM, T-Labs and T-Venture. Previously, he worked with Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in Munich and for an M&A Boutique in Zurich.

From 2001 to 2003, he worked in a team at BayTech Venture Capital in Munich and was responsible for the financing for a Siemens high-tech spin-off. Prior to that, he worked at the Lynx Consulting Group in various positions from 1994 to 2000, among others as the Managing Director of a business unit and on the Corporate Venture Capital Team. Markus Czerner holds a degree as an Electrotechnical Engineer.
