Jai Das

is a partner with SAP Ventures based out of Palo Alto where he is responsible for identifying high potential investment opportunities in Open Source and in Infrastructure software as well as in emerging markets such as India. Prior to joining SAP Ventures, Jai was a Director at Agilent Ventures (formerly part of Hewlett-Packard). He also worked at Intel Capital where he was responsible for strategic equity investments in software and data-center system vendors. Jai was also a Principal with MVC Capital, a Draper Fisher Jurvetson affiliated venture fund where he led the firm's investments in software, business services, storage and data-center systems. Previously, he spent a number of years leading engineering teams and in product marketing at Oracle, Intel, as well as several start-ups, one of which he co-founded.

Jai received his MBA from the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business where he was awarded the George Hay Brown Prize for academic excellence, and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Brown University.
