Hjalmar Windbladh is a highly successful serial entrepreneur. He co-founded Rebtel because he wanted to use his wealth of mobile internet expertise to start a revolution in international mobile calling. Prior to Rebtel, he was a strategy consultant and entrepreneur-in-residence at Investor AB, providing counsel for investments in the mobile/fixed convergence arena. Before that he co-founded and spent seven years as president and chief executive officer of mobile technology innovator Sendit AB, successfully taking the firm public before it was acquired by Microsoft for $150m.
He began his career with the founding of Pedal AB in 1990, where he served as the company’s managing director for four years. He has also been a member of the Board of Directors of Startup Factory AB, as well as Ericsson Microsoft Mobile Ventures.
