Thomas Borghardt is 42 years old and was born in Hamburg. As per January 1st, 2008, Deutsche Bank appointed him Head of Key Client Management in Private Wealth Management Germany. This business unit caters to the needs of very wealthy families, offering exclusive services such as family office, succession planning, individual investment solutions structuring, as well as advisory assistance for foundations, art and real estate.
Until recently, Thomas Borghardt was a partner at UBS Sauerborn. His new position brings him back to Deutsche Bank, with which he has had close ties since his apprenticeship in the 1980s. After obtaining his master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Hamburg, he spent many years in management positions at Deutsche Bank with responsibility for global group investments in Frankfurt and London, global strategic business development in Private Banking and advising wealthy families primarily in Northern Germany.
