MyHeritage (merged with verwandt.de)

MyHeritage is a family-oriented social network service and genealogy website. It allows members to create their own family websites, share pictures and videos, organize family events, create family trees, and search for ancestors. In 2003, CEO Gilad Japhet and a team of genealogy enthusiasts founded MyHeritage in Japhet's living room in the small town of Bnei Atarot, just outside Tel Aviv, Israel. Within six years, the company had grown to a community of 47 million members with 320 million online profiles. There are 6 million family trees on the site, and the site is accessible in 34 languages. This makes MyHeritage the second-largest genealogy company in the world. MyHeritage acquired our portfolio company verwandt.de in an asset deal in 2010.

OpenSynergy specializes in consulting and software development in the field of AUTOSAR and automotive infotainment. The company develops a software platform that integrates the infotainment domain of a car with its security domain. Furthermore, it facilitates a more efficient use and enables a further standardization of hardware.

Panaya

wahwah.fm is made up of 9 music lovers and is based out of Berlin. They are working towards building a scalable social music experience for music lovers on the go.
