On 30th of March at the IIR-Web 2.0 Congress the ten startups are going to pitch and will try to win over the audience. The winner is going to be elected by teledialog. As of today Intel and OpenSynergy sign a contract to start a partnership for automotive market. It will focus on offering a state-of-the art platform which bases on the latest Intel processor Intel Atom and the car operating system COQOS. The x86 automotive platform allows car manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers to run open-standard infotainment platform
OpenSynergy and Funkwerk Dabendorf have developed a flexible platform for the integration of communication and infotainment within cars. It can be operated by voice, touch screen or a turn and press switch. The system is based on a Autosar conform operating system.
Our founder Hasso Plattner, Brandenburg’s Minister of Science Johanna Wanka, Potsdam’s mayor Jann Jakobs and the President of the HPI Prof. Dr. Christoph Meinel laid the cornerstone for the expansion of the Hasso Plattner Institute in a ceremony on Tuesday, 24th February. The new building has become necessary because the privately financed University Institute, which was founded in 1998, has been growing and bursting at the seams. Hasso Plattner has donated € 16m for the new expansion building which will have the form of arc.
