History

Founded on July 1^st 2005 in the German city of Potsdam, Hasso Plattner Ventures has set out to support young entrepreneurs with the successful transformation of their ideas into marketable products. SAP co-founder Prof. Dr. h.c. Hasso Plattner provided the lion’s share of this investment capital, along with InvestitionsBank of Brandenburg and CMEA Ventures (HPV I).

To date Hasso Plattner Ventures has successfully invested in 12 companies, a portfolio comprising more than 300 employees and accumulated revenues of EUR 6.5m in 2006, EUR 15m in 2007, and with expected impressive growth in 2008.
