History
Founded on July 1st 2005 in the German city of Potsdam, Hasso Plattner Ventures has set out to support young entrepreneurs with the successful transformation of their ideas into marketable products. SAP co-founder Prof. Dr. h.c. Hasso Plattner provided the lion’s share of this investment capital, along with InvestitionsBank of Brandenburg and CMEA Ventures (HPV I).
To date Hasso Plattner Ventures has successfully invested in 15 companies with accumulated sales of EUR 23.5m. We look forward to further growth in 2009 with exciting new investments across Europe and following investment rounds for our portfolio companies. For 2009 a special focus will lie on the investment in expansion stage companies.
