Eran Davidson
CEO and Partner
Eran has been Managing Partner of Hasso Plattner Ventures since its foundation
in 2005 and is mainly involved with B2C deals.
From 2002 to 2005 he served as CEO for ProSeed Capital Fund in Tel Aviv. Under his auspices the Technion Technology Incubator was taken over and privatized and went on to become the most successful technology incubator in Israel. Before that Eran served as the Managing Partner at Eurofund 2000 LP in Israel. From 1996 to 2000 he was Vice President at Inventech Industrial Ventures in Tel Aviv. ProSeed, Eurofund and Inventech are venture capital suppliers that invested in early-stage high-tech companies and most of the investments have since developed into fully mature enterprises and some are being traded on the NASDAQ and other international stock exchanges. From 1995 to 1996 Eran served as Vice President of Open Sky Ltd. and from 1991 to 1993 he headed his own law company.
Eran received a degree in Law from Tel Aviv University and holds an MBA.

Dr. Rouven Westphal
Partner
Before joining Hasso Plattner Ventures in 2006 Rouven served on the executive board
of a start-up dealing with high-performance cluster computing.
From 2000 to 2003 he built up the most successful Business Angel network from scratch in Germany. During this time he brokered startup capital for the formation of more than 50 companies with a total volume of over €50m and has privately invested in ten IT companies. Some of these companies are already being traded on US and European stock markets. Together with other recognized Business Angels he also participated in several investments, two of which have already proven their success. From 1997 to 2000 Rouven worked as a Consultant for Andersen Consulting (now known as Accenture). He is in charge of B2B deals and also lectures on Entrepreneurship to students at the Hasso Plattner Institute.
Rouven holds a M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Business Administration.

Yaron Valler
Partner
Yaron Valler joined Hasso Plattner Ventures in January 2010, bringing more than ten years
of valuable experience from the IT-industry and more than five years expertise from a Venture
Capital background.
In his last position he was Vice President for the Israeli company Giza Venture Capital. Giza has been doing Seed and Early Stage investments in Start-ups since 1992 and Yaron’s focus has been Enterprise Software. Prior to this Yaron Valler was Vice President Business Development at the Technion Incubator (TEIC) in Israel, where he worked together with Eran Davidson, now CEO of Hasso Plattner Ventures
Yaron holds an MBA from INSEAD in France and a B.Sc. in Information Systems Engineering from Ben-Gurion University in Israel.

Steve Bartlik
Investment Manager
Steve has been working as Investment Manager for B2C and B2B deals at
Hasso Plattner Ventures since 2008.
From 2005 to 2007 he was with BC Brandenburg Capital, a regionally focused VC company,
where as an Investment Manager he was involved in two successful trade sales. Prior to this
Steve worked as Marketing Controller for Jamba! in Berlin.
In 2004 he was a member
of the technology, communications and entertainment team of Ernst & Young’s M&A
advisory.
Steve Bartlik holds a Diploma in Business Administration from Humboldt University in Berlin.

Henning Seeschaaf
Investment Analyst
Henning has been working as an Investment Analyst for Hasso Plattner Ventures since
2008.
He has been involved in technology-driven B2B Software/ IT deals and serves as our expert on Cleantech topics. Henning previously worked part-time for a start-up company in the area of organic semiconductors. During this time he supported the completion of the second round of financing. He was co-founder of a start-up providing research & consultancy services in the field of Web 2.0.
Henning studied in Dresden (Germany) and Trondheim (Norway) and holds a Diploma in Industrial Engineering from Dresden University of Technology.

Christiane Jonas
Director HR
Chrissie has been managing all Human Resources issues since 2007 with a main focus on placements
of Executives and key positions.
Prior to this she worked as Project Manager for Boyden International GmbH, one of the leading global Executive Search companies, where she mainly placed high-level candidates within different areas and levels of practice. She started her career as a Research Consultant at the consulting firm Neumann International AG, where she dealt with assignments in start-up companies during the peak of the New Economy.
Chrissie did her Master Studies in English Philology and General Linguistics at the universities of Regensburg, Munich and Jena.
